DreamWorks Sold to Paramount

DreamWorks was sold to Paramount at the last minute late last week. It's sort of a surprise because most people thought that they were going to join Universal, the studio with whom Spielberg has a long history. This does not directly affect DreamWorks Animation because the studio was split from DreamWorks when they went public. Paramount will however now distribute DreamWorks Animation's films, per their previous deal with DreamWorks. There is an interesting article in the NY Times about how the deal went down.
