Spore Preview

Spore is a new game developed by Will Wright the creator of Sim City and The Sims. The game is truly amazing in concept and scope. How can you top Sim City or The Sims you ask? Well this game starts at the beginning. The very beginning. You start out as small organism in a drop of water and you develop the "creature" all the way through to procreation, establishment of colonies and then villages. From there you grow to take over the planet your creature resides on. But it doesn't stop there. You can eventually grow enough to visit other planets in your solar system and colonize them. But wait, there's even more! Then from there you can travel to other solar systems in your galaxy and possibly further to other galaxies in your group of galaxies! It's truly amazing and from the looks of it. I imagine that it will take a pretty hefty computer to handle the tasks the game will throw at it. I'm not sure when the game is slated to come out but I eagerly anticipate it's release. The preview above is from the Game Developers Conference last year and is about 35 minutes long.
