I have wanted to take a stab at photography for a while now. With my interest in layout and cinematography it seems natural to want to explore photography as well. My interest was piqued even more with the latest crop of DSLR cameras that shoot HD video. I have had a few ideas floating around in my head for a while and I'm excited to start on them soon.
The two pictures above are some of the very first pictures I took with our new Canon T1i camera. The photos themselves are nothing fancy, well my girls are beautiful, but the photographs themseves we shot with very basic settings on the camera. That thing takes beautiful pictures and I can't wait until I can wrap my head around the process and really start using the camera to it's full potential.

I'm excited to see more. It's funny what you say, as coming from a photography background, I've always wanted to get into film. Images - still or moving - are such powerful ways to tell a story.
